Dr Naseer Shamma was born in Kut - Iraq. He completed his university studies at the Baghdad Academy of Music in 1987, where he received a number of high honours and awards. Currently, he manages the "Arabic Oud House" in Cairo, and supervises its branches in Abu Dhabi, in Constantine - Algeria, and the in the Library of Alexandria.

She founded "Al Multaqa Literary Salon" in Abu Dhabi in 1998, inspired by her literary passion. The salon played a significant role in Abu Dhabi's cultural movement under her leadership, which was recently crowned by the announcement of the "Asma Siddiq Prize for the First Novel", which the salon launched in collaboration with Dar Al Adab, before the salon announced the 2nd edition of the award, which includes the First Novel and the Interactive Novel.
